Biography

Greek Grandmaster (2001). Coach. European Rapid Chess Champion of 2002. Six times consecutive Greek Champion in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. Also Champion in 2008. Balkan Champion in 2002. Bronze medallist at the World U18 in 1996, at the World U20 in 1997 and 1998 and European U20 in 1997. Also Greek Champion U12, U16 and U20.

Won or shared first at Ikaros Chess Festival in 2008, Acropolis  2009, Corfu 2009, Rethymno Open 2011. In 2002 he lost an exhibition match vs. Deep Junior 2½-1½.

A member of the Greek team which participated in the world team championship 2010. A participant in 7 Olympiads since 1996.
