Hungarian Grandmaster (1998). World U20 Champion in 2000. European Champion U12, Youth Hungarian Champion U14 and U16. Also a bronze medalist at the World U16 in 1996.
Won or shared first at First Saturday Budapest in 1997 and 1998 and Budapest GM in 1999, Essent in 2002, Gyorgy Marx Memorial Paks 2007. Also came second at Pardubice in 2002.
A regular player with the national team since 1997 he was awarded a Silver medalist for the best performance at the Mitropa Cup in 2000.
A participant in the 2002 and 2004 Olympiads and in the World Championship 2004.
