Classical Grandmasters

Russian Grandmaster. Quadruple participant in the USSR Championship. Winner of the Leningrad championship in 1985 and 1989, Munich 1991, Altenstein 1991, Porce 1991, Keskemet 1992, Berlin 1992, Sochi 1993 and took silver at the Alekhine Memorial at Moscow in 1992. Among the players trained by Aseev are Maya Chiburdanidze, Andrei Kharlov and Evgeny Alekseev. Best ELO: 2591 in 2001.
