English Grandmaster (1995) won the Petit Prix (UK) in 1981 and 1984. BCF Rapidplay Champion 2002. Vice British Champion in 2001 and 2008. Won or shared first at Nottingham Chessforce in 1986, Ostende Open in 1987, Hastings Challenger in 1994/95, White Rose (ENG) in 1999, Wrexham in 2002, Paignton in 2003 and 2004. Tied first at Hastings in the 2003 Challenger Tournament, 2nd at London WFYM in 1987, Guernsey Open in 2001, Jersey Open in 2002 and Swansea in 2002, Sunningdale Congress in 2010, Jessie Gibert Open (ENG) in 2011, Gatwick Open in 2011. Best ELO: 2545 in 1996.
