Russian Federation Dreev Aleksey Sergeyevich (30.01.1969)
Russian Grandmaster (1989). At the age of 13 he became the Russian Federation Champion among schoolchildren and he was awarded the title of a USSR Master of Sports. Twice he became World U-16 Champion in 1983 and 1984, European U20 Champion in 1988.

Dreev won Moscow 1989, Lvov 1990, Podolsk 1992, Saint Petersburg 1993, Brno 1994, Wijk aan Zee 1995, Biel 1995, Reggio Emilia, 1995, Ubeda Ope 1999, Linares Open 1999, Borowski GM in 2000, Dato Tournament 2000 (CHN), European Blitz Championship in 2000, Dos Hermanas 2001, Biel Masters in 2002, Dos Hermanas 2003, North Sea Cup 2003, Parsvnath Open 2007, Benidorm 2007,  Bali 2007 and 2008, Magistral d'Escacs Ciutat de Barcelona 2008, Tallinn- Keres Memorial in 2009, Cento 2011.

In 1991 Dreev lost his Quater Final match (world championship cycle 1991-1993) to Anand +1=5 -4. Dreev was five times a member of the national squad which won four times the Olympiads (1992, 1994, 1996 and 1998) and once the World Team Championship (1997).

Author of My One Hundred Best Games in 2007.

Best ELO: 2705 in 2003.
