Russian Federation Vyzhmanavin Aleksei Borisovich (04.12.1960 - 06.01.2000)

Russian Grandmaster (1989). Soviet Champion in 1986, Twice Moscow Champion in 1984 and in 1986. 

Best results: won or shared first in Minsk 1983, Nalenchuv 1986, Tashkent 1987; Protvino 1988, Sochi 1989, USSR Championship semi-finals in Gorky 1989, Stockholm Rilton 1990, Alushta 1994. Shared ninth place in the USSR Championship in 1984, and in the All-Soviet Tournament of Young Masters in 1985, he shared the fifth to the seventh place.

He was a member of the Russian Team which won the gold in the 1992 Olympiad and the bronze in the World Team Championship in 1993

In 1998, he was reported to have suffered from depression and two years later, he was discovered dead from a possible stroke in his flat in Moscow. .
