Biography

Czech Composer. He was the editor of the chess columns of “Narodny Politika” 1907-1945, “Lyudova Demorazy” 1946-55. He has published more than 2350 problems Bohemian style problems mostly three-movers and Neo-Czech style. He won at the competitions more than 100 prizes, 35 firsts. His is co-author with White, for his Christmas edition, Dame und eine Laufer (1911). In 1928, he published Idea Ekonomie v Schove Uloze, explaining how to economize material when composing problems.
