Belorussian chess composer, International Master (1977) and International Arbiter for Chess Compositions (1959). Philologist. Since 1933 he has published about 450 compositions, mainly two- and three-movers. The winner of the 5th USSR Championship in two-movers section in 1959. He was awarded with 98 prizes from which 38 got the first prize.
