
Feoktistov Alexander Fedorovich

Russian chess composer and International Master for Chess Compositions (1980). The chairman of the Commission of Chess Compositions of Russian Federation between 1976-1984 and an engineer by profession. Feoktistov was a member of the USSR and Russian teams which won three times the World Team Championship, he was also a prize winner at the World Championship 2001-2003. He has published 160 compositions of different genres, mostly two and three-movers since 1966 and was awarded 100 distinctions, including 23 first prizes. His works are collected in the book
