Biography

Latvian chess composer, prominent specialist in modern two-mover problems. He popularized the ideas of move-functions changes. For many years he was the editor of the composition section in “Chess Magazine” (Riga). Author of “Šaha kompozicija padomju Latvijā” (Riga, 1961).
