Biography

English problemist, one of the best of his time. Has composed more than 500 problems with more than 160 honors  (45 firsts). One of the leader of the 2 movers he was the precursor of the English School of Composition. He became famous for his resourceful three- and two-mover problems with model mates. Also a good chess player over the board he won several local chess tournaments.
