British chess composer IM CC (1967). Specialized in two-movers. Editor for many years of columns in The Problemist and BCM. Published several books on chess composition, including Pick of the Best Chess Problems and Complete Mansfield – The collected chess problems of Grandmaster Comins Mansfield MBE. Vol I-III, 1996, 1997 and 1999.
