Israeli Grandmaster (2007) born in Russia. World U18 Champion. Israeli Champion 2006 and Vice Champion in 2008. Israeli U10, U14 and U20 Champion. Best results: World U10 1999, 3^rd-6^th; Winterthur 2004, 1^st; Andorra Open 2007, 1^st; Beersheva Rapid 2007, 1^st; Politiken Cup 2010, 2-4^th; Sants Barcelona Open 2010, 1^st. Since 2007, Maxim is a member of the Israeli national. He was awarded a team silver medal at the 2008 Olympiad and a team bronze medal at the 2010 Olympiad. A participant in the 2007 and 2011 World Cups. After working few months with Levon Aronian in 2009, he is since a full member of Boris Gelfand's team. Best ELO: 2650 in 2009.
