Madyar Sakkelet from 1972 to 1976. Participated in several Hungarian championships, best result in 1966 with 2-3rd place, 1967-3rd. As a member of the Hungarian team he participated in the Olympiad of 1966, then twice in the European Team Championship. Best results: Shalgotarjan Astalosh Memorial, 1967, 1-3
rd; Polanica-Zdroj in 1969, 1st; Bajmok in 1978, 1
st; Decin in 1978, 1st; Gradetz-Kralove 1979, 1
st and Trenczynkie Cieplice in 1981, 1st. Won the Vidmar Memorial Correspondence Tournament. Best ICCF ELO: 2475 in 1976.
